Logging in to Stacked

You can log in to Stacked with your email address, Apple, or Google. Stacked does not use a traditional account password.

Log in with email

1. Enter the email address registered to your Stacked account.
2. We will send a six-digit verification code to that email address.
3. Enter the code on the Stacked login screen.

Use the most recent code and check your spam or junk folder if the email does not arrive. Never share your verification code with anyone.

Log in with Apple or Google

Choose Continue with Apple or Continue with Google, then complete the sign-in with that provider. If you've previously logged in and created an account at Stacked, you can still use these methods, but be sure to use the same email address. 

Two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication is required when you link a bank account to your Stacked account. See our two-factor authentication article for setup and troubleshooting instructions.

Which email address is used?

With Apple, you can choose Share My Email or Hide My Email. If you choose Hide My Email, Apple gives Stacked a unique address ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com, or @iCloud.com. Messages sent to it are forwarded to the email address connected to your Apple Account.

Your Stacked account may therefore show an Apple address even though messages arrive in your normal inbox. Note, if you've previously used a normal email address to create your Stacked account, using "hide my email" will create a second Stacked account.

If you used “Hide My Email” by mistake

To review the address used by Stacked, go to System Settings > your name > Sign in with Apple, then select Stacked.

If you need to change the option here, Delete Stacked record.

Then, go back to Sign In at Stacked, and this time, pick, Share My Email so we can find your existing account.
